One Step at a Time, 2021

One Step at a Time is a sculpture that explores scale and doubling. Each letter in the sentence is twice as large as the letter after it. The word ONE is a “micro-découpage” of letters cut from a five dollar bill. The letter “O” is 200 microns high. The last letter, “E”, is four feet high and made of corrugated plastic.
